Part-time, daily-rated staff to strike work Feb 14
Puducherry,Feb 13 (UNI) The daily-rated and part-time employees of the territorial administration would go on a token strike here tomorrow to press their demands.
They were demanding among other things regularisation of services, a press release from the joint action committee of the daily-rated and part-time employees said here today.
The employees had given a strike call December 20 last year when Education Minister M O H F Shajahan assured to take steps for the regularisation following which the proposed agitation was dropped.
However,since the government failed to take any action,the employees would observe the strike tomorrow.
