One killed over watching cricket match on TV
Fatehgarh Sahib, Feb 13 (UNI) A migrant Bihari labourer was killed by his neighbour after a fight broke out among them over watching a cricket match on the television in Nasrali area in Mandi Gobindgarh in this district, police today said.
According to the FIR lodged on the complaint of Barinder Shah, the accused Ram Sumer had gone to his brother Surinder's house to watch the cricket match on television yesterday.
However, after sometime, they began to fight over switching the programme and Ram Sumer threw down Surinder from the roof of his house, Barinder alleged.
An injured Surinder was rushed to Civil Hospital, Mandi Gobindgarh, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Mandi Gobindgarh police has registered a case against Ram Sumer under section 304 of the IPC.
