Kolkata experiences nip in the air

Kolkata, Feb 13 (UNI) The citizens were today treated to a pleasant chilly weather with the sky remaining clear and cold winds blowing throughout the day.

The Alipore Met office recorded the day's minimum temperature at 14.1 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal while the maximum was 25 degrees Celsius, four degrees below normal.

The maximum relative humidity was pegged at 83 per cent.

The Met sources forecast the extended winter chill to continue over the next 24 hours with the minimum temperature hovering around 14 degrees Celsius.
