Kingston, Mobilestore forge partnership
Mumbai, Feb 13: California-based Kingston, an independent producer of memory products has entered into a strategic tie-up with Essar Group Mobilestore chain today, to market their range of mobile and computer peripherals in the Rs 1,600 crore domestic market.
Kingston Asia-Pacific vice president Scott Chen said, ''We'll start with mobile phone memory cards, flash products then increase our range and make them available to the maximum number of people.'' Kingston's products will be introduced in the 425 plus Mobilestore outlets in 60 cities and towns countrywide and priced competitively with other brands and the grey market with rebates and discounts being formulated, he stated.
The company has registered sales of USD 4.6 billion in 2007, he added.
