Ipswich Ripper tightlipped about blood in his pockets
London, Feb.13 : A man who reportedly murdered five prostitutes has said that he has no idea how the blood from two of the women killed was found on one of his coats.
Forty-nine-year-old Steve Wright, who is also known as the "Ipswich Ripper", has also denied that he murdered prostitutes Gemma Adams 25, Tania Nicol, 19, Anneli Alderton 24, Paula Clennell and Annette Nicholls, 29 in December 2006.
When asked by Prosecutor Peter Wright how the blood of Nicholls and Clennell was found in one of his coats, The Mirror quoted Wright as saying: " "I couldn't say, I have no idea."
Wright, who finished giving evidence on Tuesday, also denied that he had tried to "tailor" his explanations to fit the prosecution evidence.
