HUL net at Rs 1,925.47 cr

New Delhi, Feb 13 (UNI) FMCG major, Hindustan Unilever Ltd today said its net profit increased to Rs 1,925.47 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 compared to Rs 1,855.37 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Total Income has increased to Rs 14,180.43 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 from Rs 12,457.91 crore in the same period last year.

The consolidated results of the group posted a net profit of Rs 1,914.88 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 1,890.53 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Total Income has increased to Rs 14,366.54 crore for the third quarter compared to Rs 12803.90 crore in the same period last year.

The results for the quarter are not comparable to those of last quarter to the extent of amalgamation of Modern Foods (India) Ltd and its subsidiary with the Company.
