Pondy: Case against SI for threatening lawyer
Puducherry, Feb 13: A case was registered against a Sub-Inspector(SI), attached to Armed Police, on charges of threatening a lawyer here today.
Police sources said the Sub-Inspector Varadarajan, in connection with a case, contacted Advocate Suresh over cellphone and threatened him.
Suresh, who recorded the conversation, produced it before the court, which in turn directed the police to register a case against the police officer.
