Abu Asim Azmi arrested
Mumbai, Feb 13 (UNI) Samajwadi Party city chief and member of Rajya Sabha Abu Asim Azmi was arrested today by the Mumbai police from his residence at Colaba.
He was arrested for making inflammatory speech and booked under sections 153 (A) and 153 (B) of the Indian Penal Code.
Mr Azmi's statement was recorded by the police in the afternoon and later informed that he was being arrested.
He was taken to the Bhoiwada court under tight security by the Shivaji Park police.
