22 file nominations for Nagaland polls
Kohima, Feb 13 (UNI) With altogether 22 candidates filing their nomination papers today, the total number of candidates who had filed their candidature so far rose to 49 for the March Five Nagaland Assembly election.
Official sources said Congress Legislature Party leader I Imkong filed his candidature from Janpetkong Assembly seat and former Minister T Tali from Tuli.
Altogether six candidates filed their nomination papers in Mokokchung district today.
In Wokha district, seven candidates filed their nominations, while in Kohima, five candidates filed their nomination papers.
In Phek, a total of three candidates filed their candidature, while in Longleng district, one candidate filed.
The last date of filing nomination is February 16.
Scrutiny would take place on February 18.
The last date of withdrawal of nomination papers is February 20.
