Wipro signs MoU with Sastra University

Bangalore, Feb 12 (UNI) Wipro today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sastra University, Thanjavur to take its ongoing collaboration with the Institution to the next level.

The MoU envisages a set of planned activities and interactions, addressing various stakeholders, namely students, faculty and the management, a press release here said.

The activities and interactions, included faculty development programmes, technical sponsorships and student workshops, among others.

Wipro Technologies Vice President Dr Chandrasekhar Dharuman, said the objective of the MoU was to build an Industry-academia relationship and empower students to gear up for the challenges of the corporate world.
