Sonia to inaugurate KPMS centenary celebrations

Kochi, Feb 12 (UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi will inaugurate the centenary celebrations of the first farmers' strike led by Aiyyankalli, here on February 14.

Speaking to newspersons here, Kerala Pulayar Maha Sabha (KPMS) General Secretary Punnala Sreekumar said about seven lakh people from across the State would participate in the event.

As part of the celebrations, various seminars and discussions were conducted at various districts of the State, Mr Sreekumar added.
