Silver improves, gold eases on Bullish advice

Mumbai, Feb 12: A mixed trend was observed in the precious metals today as the white metal improved further by Rs 50 per kg on brisk buying support while gold was slightly down by Rs 55 per ten gm on lower buying support in the opening session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following were the opening rates of spot silver and gold in the Bombay Bullion market today: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 21,725 Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 11,840 Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 11,895.
