No immediate hike in kerosene, cooking gas prices

Bangalore, Karnataka, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Feb 9, 2008 : India"s oil Minister Murli Deora in a statement made on Friday February 8th ruled out immediate hike in administered prices of kerosene and cooking gas.

Deora"s comments came after rumors of price hike hit New Delhi. A meeting of federal ministers on Thursday 07th February, had been widely expected to recommend a politically risky rise in retail prices of petrol and diesel.
