MP observes 3-day mourning on Gaud's death

Bhopal, Feb 12 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh is observing a three-day mourning from today in view of the death of State Education Minister Laxman Singh Gaud in a road accident near Dewas last night.

All educational institutions remained closed as a mark of respect to Gaud, who was killed after his car collided with a dumper while returning to the state capital from Indore.

Menwhile Loktantrik Samajwadi Party President Raghu Thakur expressing grief on over his death said Gaud had a clean image and was committed to his duty. ''Mr Gaud's death was a personal loss to me,'' he said.

Gaud represented Indore coushituency in the Assembly. He was 49.
