Man held for practising polygamy via internet
Lucknow, Feb 12 (UNI) After hacker programmes, fraudulent marriages have made its entry in the world of cyber crime.
Unveiling a new fraud via internet, police have arrested a man here late last night for fraudulently marrying three girls through the internet.
According to police, Shahid a resident of Noorbadi area had married a doctor through the internet in 2003.
He trapped the other two girls on January 1 and 4 this year.
Recently, the girls came to know the reality after which they lodged an FIR.
Swinging into action the police arrested the culprit and sent him to jail yesterday.
