Kidney racket kingpin's associate sent to CBI custody
Gurgaon, Feb 12 (UNI) Dr Saraj, an associate of alleged kidney transplant kingpin Dr Amit Kumar was sent to 14-day CBI custody today by a local court.
Dr Saraj had surrendered before Ranjana Agarwal, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate yesterday, sources said.
He was a resident of Shahdara in Delhi and was absconding since January 24, the day the raid was conducted at Dr Kumar's hospital here.
The magistrate had yesterday sent Dr Saraj to a day-long judicial custody, sources added.
