Five children injured while preparing fire crackers
Jalandhar, Feb 12 (UNI) Atleast five children were injured in a blast while preparing fire crackers at Gurbachan Nagar under Maqsudan Police Station here this evening.
Police said that all the five children, identified as Raj Kumar, Sandeep, Rahul, Sunil Kumar and Kamal, were immidiately rushed a private hospital, where condition of one of them was stated to serious.
The blast took place when the children by mistake mixed the wrong raw material while preparing fire crackers for the Ravidas jayanti shobha yatra to be taken out in the locality, police said.
