16 killed in a blast at an election rally in Pak
Charsadda, Feb 10, 2008 : According to police sources, 16 people were killed and 35 injured in a suspected suicide bomber attack on an election rally in Charsadda in northwestern Pakistan on Saturday, February 9th.
The blast occurred in Nakai during a rally that was being addressed by senior Awami National Party leader, Afrasiab Khattak, who escaped without injury. The wounded were rushed to hospitals in Peshawar.
