Rs 2.89 lakh robbed at petrol pump

Jaunpur, Feb 11 (UNI) Two unidentified miscreants robbed Rs 2.89 lakh from a petrol pump in Line Bazaar area here today.

The crime took place on Jaunpur-Allahabad highway in Harinathpatti (Sihipur) village, where two motorcycle borne miscreants decamped after snatching the cash from the petrol pump workers, police said.

A man-hunt to nab the accused had been launched.
