NetXcell ties with US-based SinglePoint

Hyderabad, Feb 11 (UNI) NetXcell Limited, one of the telecom application services providers, today announced that it has partnered with US-based SinglePoint to deliver Value Added Services (VAS) to various mobile operators by gathering information from content providers, media partners and VAS companies in the US market.

The partnership with SinglePoint, which had a large customer base there, envisages the company to open a new vista to access huge VAS market in US, a release said here today.

SinglePoint, a US-based mobile aggregator and media interactivity expert in mobile, provides services, including mobile message connectivity, applications such as voting, polling, sweepstakes, contests, alerts, coupons clips, tips, reporting and analytics.

''SinglePoint is extremely pleased to be partnering with Netxcell, one of the pioneers in providing telecom application services,'' SinglePoint Senior Vice-President (Sales and Business Development) Gowrishankar said.

''We expect Netxcell to see tremendous success in expanding in USA and reaching North American wireless subscribers,'' he said.

NetXcell Executive Chairman Dayakar Puskoor said ''NetXcell is constantly working towards expanding its presence in USA. Our partnership with SinglePoint is the next step towards the same. We are confident of reaching a wide customer and operator base through SinglePoint and are looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with them.'' Both the companies had already started working together for Lifestyle Wireless (LW). NetXcell was providing software application for running core SMS services in USA by LW. SinglePoint was the routing and billing entity for LW.
