Lily Allen denies chat show audience walk out reports

Washington, Feb 11 : Pop singer Lily Allen has denied reports that her new TV show suffered a major setback when over a third of the studio audience walked out complaining of dullness.

According to the reports published earlier, more than a third of the studio audience walked out of the Feb 8 taping of her debut chat show 'Lily Allen and Friends,' branding it 'horrible and limp.'

The singer-turned-presenter was hit by a string of problems including a broken teleprompter that left her reading from handwritten cue cards.

Allen's performance disappointed her fans, who got up and left before the cameras finished rolling.

However, the singer's rep has insisted that the stories are not true.

"It's nonsense," Contactmusic quoted the rep as telling Daily Star.
