3 held in abduction case in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, Feb 11: Three persons, including the brother of Kollywood actress Bobbylona, were arrested on the charge of abducting a friend of a singer due to personal enmity at suburban Valasaravakkam last evening.

Police said they were on the look out for the actor's another brother, who was part of the gang that kidnapped Sheldon, friend of Newton, running a light music troupe. Sheldon, a call centre employee, was returning home along with Newton after performing a show, when they were waylaid by the gang near Alandur. The gang members robbed them of their personal belongings and abducted Sheldon in a car. However, they released him last evening.

Acting on a complaint, police interrogated Sheldon and the involvement of the actor's brothers in the incident, which was said to be a fall-out of a tussle between them in a snooker parlour a few days ago, came to light.
