Action against Raj Thackeray will provoke backlash: MNS

Nashik, Feb 11 (UNI) Maharashtra Navnirman Sena general secretary Vasant Gite today warned that Nashik will witness the ''biggest outburst'' in the event of any action against party chief Raj Thackeray.

''Nashik will face the biggest outburst if there is any action against Raj Thackeray. Any action against Raj Thackeray will be against a person who has done nothing. People are participating in the agitation on their own,'' Mr Gite said while addressing a press conference here today.

The outburst, in the event of action against Raj Thackeray, would be bigger than what was experienced over the last eight days, Mr Gite said while adding that this was a ''warning to the government''.

Mr Gite's reaction comes in the wake of an FIR being filed against Raj Thackeray in Mumbai today.
