Telangana: Ball in Cong court, says Yechury
Hyderabad, Feb 9 (UNI) Communist Party of India (Marxist) Politburo member Sitaram Yechury today said it was for the Congress-led UPA Government to decide on the Telangana issue.
''The ball is in the Congress court'' he told reporters here.
It was not correct on the part of the Congress to put the blame on the CPI(M) for its ''indecisiveness,'' he added.
Stating that the Telangana issue did not figure during the 22nd party State Conference, he said there was no demand from any of the party delegates for a discussion on the issue.
There was no change in the party's stand that the present lingustic states should not be disturbed as it would amount to opening a pandora's box.
