SIT to trace overstaying Pakistanis, Bangladeshis
Gulbarga, Feb 10 (UNI) In the wake of arrests of a number of terror suspects in Hubli and Davanagare in Karnataka, police have formed a Special Investigation Team to trace overstaying Pakistan and Bangladesh nationals.
Talking to UNI here today, Inspector General of Police (North Eastern range) M V Murthy said hundreds of Pakistan and Bangladesh nationals were overstaying in the region, especially in the communally sensitive Gulbarga, Bidar and Raichur districts.
''The SIT will trace the whereabouts of such people,'' he added.
Mr Murthy said the SIT would keep a vigil on the movement of strangers in all the sensitive areas.

''The Hubli and Davanagare terrorist cases have been entrusted to the Corps of Detectives. They investigate and arrest the suspects on their own. At the moment, I do not have any information on the arrest,'' he added.
