Seminar on cultural heritage at Kohima

Kohima, Feb 10 (UNI) A two-day seminar on 'Cultural Heritage of Ethnic Groups of North East India', organised by Dibrugarh University of Assam, will begin here from February 22.

Official sources said here today that the seminar is aimed at bringing together researchers of the region to highlight and recommend measures for preservation and development of the NE culture.

Paper presentations and discussions will be held on 'History of the Ethnic groups and their Cultural linkage', 'Contribution towards the Composite Culture', 'Traditional Knowledge Culture', 'Folk Culture literature', 'Art, Architecture and Design', 'Textile' and 'Impact of Globalisation'.
