ECEL expands portfolio, launches Crawler Cranes

Hyderabad, Feb 10 (UNI) Escorts Construction Equipment Limited (ECEL), has expanded its product portfolio and launched Crawler Cranes in India.

The company has signed up with IHI Construction Machinery Ltd, Japan, which was part of IHI Limited, a USD 1200 billion company, for marketing its entire range of Crawler Cranes in India .

Marking the launch of Crawler Cranes, Deputy General Manager - Crane Group IHI, Tsuuneo Nagas, along with Associate Vice President Marketing ECEL, Rajesh Sharma, handed over the key to the first customer in India and city-based Navayuga Engineering Co Ltd.

Mr Sharma, in a statement here, said ECEL pioneered the Construction and Earth Moving Equipment Industry in India and plans were on to consolidate its leadership position in the segment.

Infrastructure and Real Estate development led to rapid growth of the Industry, he added.
