Bomb threat on Rajdhani Express turns hoax
Mumbai, Feb 9 (UNI) An anonymous call saying a bomb had been planted in the New Delhi-bound Rajdhani Express turned out to be a hoax after a thorough search by police here today.
The Borivali railway station police officials received an anonymous call at around 1700 hours, saying a bomb was planted in the Rajdhani Express. Following which, the train was halted at Bhayendar railway station for checking, said the Western Railway (WR) spokesperson Bhagwat Dahisarkar.
A dog squad and a bomb disposal squad were pressed into service.
After two-and-half hours of checking, the security agency gave clearance and the train left for New Delhi, he added.
