Valuables worth Rs 2.6 lakh stolen from house

Nashik, Feb 9 (UNI) Unidentified persons broke into a house and made away with valuables worth Rs 2,61,500 at Bhansaheb Nagar area on the Nashik Pune Highway.

The assailants broke the back door of flat number six in Vijayshree Apartments last evening and escaped with gold, silver ornaments and Rs 7,500 in cash, amounting Rs 2,61,500, police said.

Owner of the house, Trimbak Chakor had gone for a walk along with his wife, Vijaya when the incident took place, police added.
