Three arrested for looting petrol pump

Nashik, Feb 9 (UNI) Police have arrested three alleged persons for looting a petrol pump in Untwadi, here.

Police have arrested - Ravindra Raut (22), Sagar Katare (20) and Vijay Ahire alias Bhawdya yesterday, in connection to the loot of Rs 15,000 from Vishal Petrol pump in Untwadi.

Meanwhile, in another twist to the incident, the complainant Yuvraj Gadhare had assaulted one of the trio, earlier yesterday.

Following which the trio and their friends had ransacked few vehicles at Trimurti Chowk and Jagtap Mala of New Nashik.

This had created panic in the areas. Few shops remained shut for some time till police controlled the situation and everything returned to normal.
