Remarks 'highly objectionable': Yechury
Hyderabad, Feb 9 (UNI) Communist Party of India (Marxist) Politburo Member Sitaram Yechury today condemned the remarks made by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Chief Raj Thackeray against North Indians.
Talking to newspersons here, he said the remarks was ''highly objectionable'' and MNS had by organising attacks against north Indians in Mumbai sought divide the society on parochial lines.
The Shiv Sena had resorted to''dirty politics'' and organised attacks against south Indians in 1968, he recalled.
