Over Rs 70 lakh worth property gutted in Assam
Tezpur, Feb 9 (UNI) Property worth Rs 70 lakh was gutted in a fire that broke out at Rangapara town market in Assam's Sonitpur district at midnight last night.
More than 20 shops were gutted in the fire with fire engines from neighbouring areas also pressed into action to douse it.
The fire was suspected to have sparked from an electric short circuit, official sources said here today.
