Jammu, Feb 9: Son of Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Minister was thrashed by two persons last night in the posh locality here, official sources today said.

''Two miscreants beatup and injured Samar Dev Singh Charak, son of Higher Education Minister Gulchain Singh Charak in posh Gandhi Nagar area last night,'' official sources told the year asserting that both the accused had been arrested.

Police said two youths, travelling in a car, beatup the Minister's son when he along with his family members was on his way back home.

''Minor scuffle between them was the reason behind the incident,'' sources said adding that the arrested accused were identified as Devinder Singh and Shashi Pal Tak.
