Azad visits snow hit areas in bordering districts
Jammu, Feb 9 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today visited severely affected snow hit twin border districts of the state.
Mr Azad took a stock of the situation in Doda and Kishtwar districts and interacted with the people in remote villages and had a meeting with army, police and security force officers about the situation and the measures being taken to provide relief to the people in the affected areas.
Mr Azad later visited Doda district and after interacting with the people, he directed administration to restore road links, power and provide health facilities.
Talking to mediapersons, Mr Azad said he had been trying to visit the badly affected areas in the two districts but due to continuous snowfall, he was not able to visit these areas.
