6 RSS volunteers hurt in attack

Shajapur, MP, Feb 9: Six volunteers of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) were injured as a group of armed people attacked them here.

The injured were admitted to the district hospital here, while six attackers had been arrested, police said.

Police said the RSS volunteers were holding a 'shakha' (drill) at Ayodhya Basti on Berchha Road here yesterday when altogether 20 youths, belonging to a community, attacked them. The attackers were armed with sharp-edged weapons.

As a precautionary measure, police force had been deployed in the area.
