Three persons murdered in K'taka town

Kolar, Karnataka, Feb 8: Three persons, two woman and a six-year-old boy were brutally murdered by unknown assailants in Mulbagal town in this district in the early hours today.

Police said the killed identified as Lalithamma (30) her brother's son Anila (8) and her relative Munivenkatamma (65) had been strangled to death by the assailants using cable wires.

The reason behind the murders was not immediately known. Lalitha was working as a teacher in tailoring.

Top police officials visited the spot and are investigating. The bodies were sent for post mortem.
