Students of Kolhati, Dombari castes to get priority

Mumbai, Feb 8 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minster R R Patil today said the children belonging to the Kolhati and Dombari castes will be given priority in the state-run Ashram schools.

Addressing representatives of the Kolhati and Dombari castes, he said the people can make progress only if they are well educated.

People belonging to these two castes are found at places like Pune, Satara, Sangli, Solapur and Kolhapur in Maharashtra and from Belgaum, Nipani, Sankeshwar and Khanapur from Karnataka.
