Silver, Gold up on strong global advice

Mumbai, Feb 8 (UNI) Both the precious metals were on the upswing due to strong global advice today with Silver up by Rs 265 per kg and Gold by Rs 80 per ten gm in the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 21,370 (21,105) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 11,710 (11,630) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 11,760 (11,685).
