Pune, Feb 8 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Uttarakhand.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, east Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and Lakshadweep.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Mainly dry weather will prevail over west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and coastal and north interior Karnataka.
Severe cold wave conditions prevailed in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, west Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch. Cold wave conditions prevailed in Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, in some parts of west Madhya Pradesh and at isolated places in east Rajasthan and north Konkan.
Cold wave conditions also prevailed in some parts of Haryana and in remaining parts of Konkan.
Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Goa, Vidarbha and coastal Karnataka. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalseema and in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country.
Rain or snow have occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir and at many places in Himachal Pradesh.
