Prisoner commits suicide inside jail

Hazaribagh, Feb 8 (UNI) A prisoner serving life term allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself inside the Central jail premises in this district today.

The prisoner belonged to Patra Barka village. He was found hanging from the branch of a tree with his towel, jail sources said.

He was suffering from mental depression for the past two years, the sources said adding his body was sent for post mortem to the civil hospital.
