Pak national sent to Delhi
Karur, Tamil Nadu, Feb 8 (UNI) A Pakistan-based textile unit representative, who went missing, was taken into custody and sent to New Delhi, from where he came, yesterday.
Mohammed Rahan Afridi (39) was taken into custody, following a 'complaint of missing' from his two fellow nationals, police said.
He had come to the 'textile city' along with his friends for some business purpose and was staying in a hotel. However, he was reported missing a few days back.
Acting on the complaint, the Karur police located him near the Old Bus Stand on Tuesday.
On finding his replies contradictory, the Police Headquarters decided to send him back to Delhi after informing the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and other security agencies in the National Capital, police added.
