MIAL ties up with SITA For high-tech self check-in counters
Mumbai, Feb 8 (UNI) Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) today signed an agreement with Switzerland-based SITA to install high-tech self service kiosks (CUSS) and common use terminal equipment (CUTE) at the Mumbai International airport and some of the leading hotels across the city.
The CUSS enables a passenger to check-in without the help of a manual desk.
Under the agreement, SITA, one of the leading service providers, will deploy its 'AirporConnect' technology across 150 check-in counters at the airport and 50 common use terminal equipment check-in kiosks, of which 20 will be located in prominent city hotels.
SITA had signed an agreement with the Airports Authority of India in New Delhi yesterday for providing similar facilities across 13 non-metro airports in the country.
