LeT suspects subject to narco analysis

Bangalore, Feb 8 (UNI) Lashkar-e-Toaiba suspects Riyazuddin Nasir and Asadulla Abubaker have been subjected to narco analysis tests today by the Crops of detectiues (CoD) Police at a hospital here.

A native of Hyderabad, Nasir (23) told his interrogators about the training he underwent at a terror camp in PoK and his involvement in disruptive activities, including the Mecca Masjid Blasts in the Andhra Pradesh Capital.

He was caught along with Asadulla Abubakar by the Davanagere Police when the duo was trying to sell a vehicle lifted from Goa on January 11.

They reportedly confessed to plans for triggering explosions in Karnataka and Goa, targeting tourists from United States and other foreign countries.

Based on the information given by them, police arrested the duo's associate Mohammad Asif, a final year medical student in Hubli, a week later.

NFL Scientist Malini conducted the tests. The entire exercise was videographed, NFL officials said.The duo underwent brain mapping and polygraph tests there yesterday.

During narco analysis, they reportedly confirmed to most of the revelations they made during questioning by the police in Davangere, police sources said.

The narco tests have been conducted after the State Police took permission from the I Class Judicial Magistrate Court at Honnali.
