Intensified patrolling to check illegal mining in Gurgaon
Gurgaon, Feb 8 (UNI) The police and mining department authorities would jointly intensify the patrolling to check illegal mining in this district, Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Gupta, in a meeting to review the illegal mining in the area said here today.
Mr Gupta, who had earlier led a team to visit the area which was prone to illegal mining, said that no blasting and organised mining was detected in areas near village Sikhopur, Naurangpur and Sakatpur.
The Deputy Commissioner, however, asked the DCPs to put in more number of vehicles to intensify police patrolling in the illegal mining prone areas.
He also directed the police and mining department to conduct joint patrolling.
