DM asks to deposit firearms

Agartala, Feb 8 (UNI) The West District Magistrate today issued a notification asking the people to deposit their firearms.

The district administration of all the three districts of Tripura would issue notification in this regard soon.

Issuing the order, West Tripura District Magistrate Kishore Ambuly said, ''The administration has taken this decision to maintain peace during pre-poll and post-poll period. Strong action will be taken against those who fails to deposit there arms to nearby police stations within February 15''.
