Dacoit gang held,stolen property recovered
Hyderabad, Feb 8 (UNI) Police today arrested a six-member gang who stole property worth Rs 12 lakh, including a necklace and a mobile phone, from a flat in the city on February one .
Addressing the press here, City Police Commissioner B Prasada Rao said three persons gained entry into T Rani Rao's flat located in the busy Somajiguda Area.
They took the keys of the almirah under knife point and made good with the booty.
The plan was hatched by G Raju who had worked as a driver for Rao's husband T Hanumantha Rao.
Police recovered stolen property worth Rs 7.32 lakh, including Rs 6.57 lakh in cash, a gold necklace and a mobile from the accused.
