Cyber Crime Units in TN soon: DGP
Madurai, Feb 8 (UNI) To check the growing menace of cyber crimes, the Tamil Nadu Government will set up Cyber Crime Units (CCU) in all Police Commissionarates in the next six months, Director General of Police P Rajendran said.
Talking to reporters here today, he said there was an increase in cyber crimes and more such cases are reported of late. The Crime Branch-CID Police wing of the state police were trained to deal with cyber crimes.
To a question the DGP said there was no infiltration of LTTE cadres into the state.
