Coir products' sale through AROs
Kochi, Feb 8 (UNI) In a bid to popularise coir and related products, the Coir Board had chalked out a scheme to promote and market coir products through Authorized Retail Outlets (AROs).
As per the scheme, which will be inaugurated by Coir Board Chairman A C Jose on Feb 11, customers can purchase coir mats and other products and place orders through the AROs, according to an official release here today.
Though initially the outlets would be opened in Kerala, the AROs would be extended across the country in the immediate future, the release added.
The coir products would be procured from small scale producers, whereby they could get more revenue and full-time employment.
