Boy held for killing fellow student

Chitrakoot, Feb 8 (UNI) Police today arrested a student for killing his fellow-mate here.

The arrested Manvendra confessed to the crime, saying he had bought the weapon used in the murder from an ex-student, police said.

In an ugly reminiscent of the fatal battle inside the Gurgaon and Satna (MP) schools recently, Manvendra, XI standard student in Chitrakoot Inter College, had shot dead his fellow student Ashish in Karbi area yesterday.

Ashish had complained to the warden about Manvendra's smoking and late night movie watching habits.

Irked over the incident, Manvendra fired upon Ashish from a country made pistol.
