Supplyco posts sales of Rs 114 crore

Kochi, Feb 7 (UNI) Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (Supplyco) has posted a record sales of Rs 114 crore during January 2008, an increase of 30 per cent from the corresponding period last year.

According to an official release here today, sales of essential items through 'Maveli Stores', 'Labham Markets', 'Super Markets' and 'Sabari Stores' increased by 20 per cent during the current fiscal.

Supplyco, which had a retail market share of 16 per cent, had 56 depots with godowns and 1,200 retail outlets in the state, the release added.
